Let There Be Light
Romans 10:17

What goes in, must Coke out. Have you ever wondered why we sometimes hesitate to take that next, crucial step towards our goals and dreams? Why do so many negative thoughts come to mind when we think about what it would take to accomplish our goals? Well, to put it plainly, it’s really hard to make a great chocolate cake when the eggs are rotten…the milk is spoiled…and you don’t have enough flour. If the ingredients that go into the cake are bad, the cake will be awful.

That’s how we have to look at our lives. We can’t absorb negative conversations, the local news, sensationalized television and movies, and stereotypes, expecting to live the life that is possible for us. All those things create anxiety and fear. Fear, is the opposite of Faith. Doubt, worry, fear, and anxiety are all associated with darkness. As these emotions creep into your mind, it feels like a cloud is following you everywhere. You have to surround yourself with Faith building messages and conversations. The more you focus on this, the more your dreams will become goals, and the more your goals will become reality. Be the light that you want to see in the world. It starts from within, as long as you have the right ingredients.

*Stay blessed
